D'ART is a Seoul-based art advisory founded on a single premise: that the most consequential collecting happens at the intersection of speed and conviction.
We track the movements of the contemporary art market with a precision most advisories cannot offer — identifying shifts before they become consensus, and translating that intelligence directly into acquisition strategy. Our clients collect ahead of the curve, not behind it.
We do not transact. We advise — quietly, consistently, and over time. Our work is built on discretion: clients trust us with decisions that are deeply personal, and we honour that trust completely. The relationships we value most are the ones that have lasted years, not seasons. We are not looking for buyers. We are looking for partners.
D'ART is led by Timmy Kim, a curator and advisor whose practice has taken him across the full breadth of the contemporary art world. His career spans a wide range of exhibitions, museum collaborations, and projects at the intersection of art and commercial space — work shaped by direct engagement with artists, institutions, and ideas, rather than the agenda of any single platform. Timmy attends the major international fairs each season, moving through the global art circuit with the kind of sustained, firsthand attention that informs everything we do. The judgements he brings to his clients are his own.
The revenues of D'ART directly support cync, a nonprofit hybrid institution in Seoul that we founded and operate. Through its exhibition space and ongoing cultural projects, cync works to create meaningful change within the art world — giving emerging artists a serious platform, free from commercial pressure. It is our contribution to the ecosystem that sustains us.
